SUMMARY:Annual Chili Feed and Raffle
DESCRIPTION:This is the Deschutes County Historical Society’s biggest yearly fundraiser and a warm\, inviting community event that brings together all ages on the grounds of the historic Reid School building.\nThis year’s event takes place on one day\, Friday September 25\, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Guests can join us indoors or outside for a chili lunch\, an afternoon nosh of pie and ice cream\, and/or enjoy a bowl of Millie’s Chili on a lovely warm autumn evening. \nAs always\, our raffle will take place over both Friday and Saturday\, September 25 and 26\, with the winning tickets drawn at the end of the day on Saturday. There are 24 raffle packages featuring items from local businesses and organizations such as The Westman Hotel and Olive & May restaurant\, Nordic and Alpine packages from Mt Bachelor\, wine for a year\, and the most coveted prize of all: your own reserved table at the 2027 History Pub series! \nA bowl of chili with all the fixings\, cornbread\, and pie (with or without ice cream) costs $15 ($5 for just pie)\nRaffle tickets are $1 each\, 6 for $5\, or 25 for $20.\nMuseum admission is free throughout the event.

He has carved tracks on the slopes at Mt.
