
REFLECTIONS OF HISTORY: An Architectural Walking Tour
Stroll through the Drake Park Neighborhood Historic District and go back in time when walking was the thing to do and neighborhoods were all about proximity to town. Participants will be introduced to the architectural styles represented in the neighborhood, coupled with stories of changing times in a growing community.
The Deschutes Historical Museum provides walking tours of historical significance around Bend’s historic downtown district, neighborhoods, and sites Saturdays May through August. All tours leave the museum at 10:30 a.m. and are led by knowledgeable and trained museum volunteers. Tours are subject to change and cancellation, operating rain or shine. Tours begin and end at the Deschutes Historical Museum.
Time: 10:30 a.m., approximately 90 minutes
Length: 1-mile walking through historic neighborhoods. The sidewalks are uneven at times.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water.
Parking is available at the museum.
