MUSEUM FREE DAY

The Deschutes Historical Museum opened on July 4, 1980, and each year we celebrate this anniversary with FREE DAY at the museum.
Join us as we take this opportunity to thank the community for its support with free admission, ice cream (while it lasts), games on the lawn, and a peak into Deschutes history.

Don’t miss seeing our latest exhibit, Klunkers & Stumpjumpers, A History on Two Wheels.
In the late 1970s, the logging roads and game trails of Awbrey Butte provided a playground of experimentation for early mountain bike pioneers who helped develop and spread the sport throughout Oregon.

The museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
